Submit a Claim - Instructions

Attention: If you filed (or will file) a claim in one or both of the 2.0-liter or 3.0-liter Class Action Settlements, and your claim is approved, you do not need to file a claim in the Bosch Settlement. If your VW Settlement claim is approved, and you do not opt out of the Bosch Settlement, you will get an automatic payment in the Bosch Settlement.

There are three scenarios in which a Bosch Settlement Class Member should file a claim:

  1. If you have not (or do not plan to) file a claim in one or both of the 2.0-liter or 3.0-liter Class Action Settlements, and you wish to participate in the Bosch Settlement, you must file a Bosch Settlement claim by December 31, 2019.
    • Note: Your claim will be processed after the filing deadline of the VW Settlement for which you are eligible for. The Bosch Settlement Administrator may reach out to you for further information.
  2. If you requested exclusion from either or both of the 2.0-liter or 3.0-liter Class Action Settlements, and you wish to participate in the Bosch Settlement, you must file a Bosch Settlement claim by August 15, 2017.
    • Note: Your claim will be processed as soon as your exclusion status is verified in the VW Settlement(s). The Bosch Settlement Administrator may reach out to you for further information.
  3. If you missed the deadline to timely register as an Eligible Seller in the 2.0-liter Class Action Settlement (September 16, 2016) or if you are an Eligible Former Owner in the 3.0-liter Class Action Settlement, but will not file a claim in the 3.0-liter Settlement, and you wish to participate in the Bosch Settlement, you must file a Bosch Settlement claim by May 1, 2017.
    • Note: Your claim will be processed as soon as your status and eligibility is verified. The Bosch Settlement Administrator may reach out to you for further information.

IMPORTANT: If you are not part of one of the above three scenarios, and if you filed (or will file) a claim in one or both of the 2.0-liter or 3.0-liter Class Action Settlements, and your claim is approved, you do not need to file a claim in the Bosch Settlement. If your VW Settlement claim is approved, and you do not opt out of the Bosch Settlement, you will get an automatic payment in the Bosch Settlement.
